Please Read If You Would Like To Consign with JBFRegister If you are currently on the mailing list, click here to go to the sign-up page, find your consignor information and complete the registration process. Please update any incorrect information, so we can contact you, if the need arises. If you are NOT currently on the mailing list, you can click here to go to the sign-up page and easily become a JBF consignor. The "consignor number" you receive will be used for any Columbia OR Jefferson City sale. Remember to register for each sale you would like to consign in. ALSO, if you plan to consign at any other JBF sales, please request the same consignor number (email each sale owner) BEFORE you start tagging so that you do not have to re-tag!
Getting Started After you register online, you are ready to get started on the preparation of your items. Please read all of the information located under merchandise prep and how to tag BEFORE you begin hanging and tagging your items for sale. Pay close attention to what items are acceptable to bring to this particular sale (cold weather items will be accepted, so save your summer items for the Spring 2010 sale) and then start gathering those items together.
Clothing Guidelines We know that some past styles are coming back, but please pay careful attention to what you bring. Even when styles do re-appear 20 years later, there is typically a variation on the idea. Again, we have the reputation of being the best, so please help us maintain a high quality of items on the sales floor! Another way we attain this goal is accepting only clothing purchased within the last five years.
MyJBFTags.com (Online Bar-coded Tags) JBF offers consignors a convenient and easy way to enter, print and track your items. Simply register as a JBF consignor (remember you must register for each sale in which you wish to consign) and use your Consignor # to create an account at www.myjbftags.com. Once you have entered your items, you can quickly and easily print out your tags and then track your sales for each event. Consign with JBF and SHOP EARLY AIl consignors participating in the current sale will receive one consignor pre-sale pass. This pass allows you to shop at 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 10th. You will receive your pass when you drop your items off at the sale.
Volunteer with JBF and Shop Even Earlier As JBF continues to grow in size and merchandise, there is an ever increasing need for volunteers--not only during the sale times, but during set-up and break-down as well. Please consider joining the wonderful team of volunteers who help make Just Between Friends such a success! Remember, volunteers get the best selection because they shop first and it is a great opportunity to meet new friends, too!! (Also, if you volunteer four hours or more, you will earn 70% on your items. If you are unable to volunteer or barter four hours at this event, you will earn 65% on your sold items) Click here to check it out!
Invite Other "Friends" to Participate The JBF sale continues to grow due to the incredible nationwide base of loyal consignors and shoppers who are constantly telling others about this wonderful and beneficial event.
Your Check's In the Mail Your consignor check will be in the mail two weeks after the sale ends. All consignors need to bring a self-addressed, stamped legal-sized/#10 envelope when they drop-off their items (make sure your consignor number is listed somewhere on the envelope), so your check can be mailed to you. If you forget, we'll have envelopes available for you to purchase for $1. Consignors make 65%-70% (if you volunteer/barter four hours or more, you will make the extra 5%) of the selling price (a $10 consignor fee will be deducted from your check). Making extra money is simple and fun with Just Between Friends!
